Paint underside of engine bonnet peeling on F430

I have an F 430 Spider 2006 Model with 4K on the clock . Just noticed when detailing the engine a bubble in the flat black on the underside of the raised engine cover of the rear deck. To my horror when I touched it the whole area flaked off exposing a shinny red finish. matching the CR red body finish. It appears to be sprayed right over the glossy red at the factory with nothing to help it adhere to painted finish. It looks terrible now. Any ideas as to the best fix. Any others have had similar experience.? Any chance the factory would cover.? Closest dealer is 225 mile away.
Any advice appreciated.

Since we are getting no response on line I will try the general discussion and I have a call in to the dealer in St Louis who seems interested in helping and will contact a factory rep . I will let you know what they have to say . I am sure there are others out there with the same issues and need a fix.

I have the same issue with my 09 Scud. The paint underside of the front bonnet also peeling. Will dealer fix or repaint under warranty?

 

I have the same on mine and the dealer said it happens on all of them. It is a factory fault.

All you can do is have it resprayed properly or dont worry about it.

Mine was covered under factory warranty.​

 

The flat black paint on this model peels. I had that problem, but was lucky it occurred under warranty, so it got fixed. I'd go back to the dealer and ask them to fix it under warranty.
