Well guys.... after almost 8 months of work...(felt like years) my car is almost done. I been working on it after work and on all weekends. I repainted the complete car in a dupont base coat/ clear coat, and did my belt service. All that I need to do is reassemble the drivers door and put it on, and wetsand everything and I'm done.

So are you going to let the cat out and tell us all how much $$$ you have into this car in total? I am willing to bet it is looking like a real bargain at this point.
    Looks great too!

You should get another 'BAD DOGS' sign and leave it in the window of the 348.

The car didnt come with a grill when I bought it. My options were buy one for 500$ or make one and I wasnt sure that the original would fit anyhow, because I changed the location of my A/C condensor to behind where the grill is. I found that by using a 308 condensor (which is twice as big) in a 348 it drops your A/C temps about 20 degree's colder. A few months ago when it was 89 outside I pulled 59 degree's and that was at 0mph, just idling.

The grill I made, only cost me about 35$

    Nice Job!!

Love the grill also, what kind of material and where did you find it?

I bet it would look great on the rear as a replacement for the grills, only black instead of chrome.

Looks great! Love the front grill.

But man, that whole "cynder block on top of the jack post" thing has got me wigged out!

I trust that you know what you are doing!

Its aluminum. I wanted stainless steel but they didnt have it. About a year ago I did a hotrod project and thats all autozone had was the stainless steel so I thought this was the same stuff until I got home and it cut like butter.

by the way the rear cynder block isnt holding the car up, its just applying pressure the back half of the body to keep it from sagging and to simulate how it should be sitting on all four wheels, that way all the body work I did stays straight when the car returns to sitting normally.
