I am not sure if this is the right area to post this topic but I am looking into some paint work on my 355. The previous owner had the nose and right front fender resprayed by Prestigious Auto Body in Goleta. The paint work itself looks great however the match does not, too much green which makes it appear lighter, especially around dusk or when the car is wet during a wash for example, it is VERY obvious. It is especially hard to look at under flourescents such as when refueling at the local Chevron with the huge light structures overhead. I took it to a very reputable shop today and they advised spraying the nose, both fenders, trunk lid and blending into the doors. Seemed like overkill to me but what do I know? Obviously the previous method did not work. The car is giallo yellow and I really didn't want to touch the panels with original paint. I was hoping someone could do a perfect color match but that might not be possible. I don't know if I can live with the car as is but having this properly redone would certainly be less costly than selling and buying another one, better the devil you know...The car is great in every other aspect so I really want to have this done properly if possible but I did not want to have to pay an arm and a leg, seems like a couple of panels should be $2K or less but the front half of the car?
