    This is a project that I have been thinking about trying for a long time.... but really wasn't sure if my painting skilles was enough :D But I tried... and this is what it looks like.... Not really photo realistic... and it wasn't the goal for me. :)

    I really hope you like it!!

    It's acrylic on 80x60cm canvas.
    The thin lines around the badge is made with silver paint... I'm not sure how easy it is for you to see on a photo.


    First I sketched out what I would like to do...

    at last the shadow under the badge didn't look quite right... so I painted it black instead... :)

    And right now I still need to do the details inside the cavallino and some other few places :)
    I'll post the finished result later this evening... or tomorrow when the light is better for photos :)

    Wouldn't you prefer the photo this was inspired by??? I know it's out there on the internet.... I don't have the high res one :)

    But if you still want my painting as a high res photo.. I'll make you one tomorrow when the sun is up again ;)

    I have to admit that this really was a challenge :) brush and paint is deffinately not the same as drawing with charcoal or pensil ;)

    Why didn t you made a Hall with yours paints you and Carsten?
    I mean a tread without comments put all yours paints and afther
    we put the comments.

    I don 't know how to explain in english but it will be nice to see
    only paintings in HR and large format only for dream, improve our imagination
    and have 5 minutes without reading and be disturb with comments.

    the moderator can help you for made the Gallery?

    The comments comes afther that the Hall of art works be closed.

    I understand you perfect, so no worry :):)
    But I'm not sure if people want that... a lot in there have allready seen a looot of our work :):)
