    Have had the car for almost a year and just don't care for the wheels. Thought about painting them the same color as the car (Grigio Ingrid). Any thoughts?

    IMHO, I think it would look good. However, before spending $X dollars, maybe someone could photoshop a side view for you to be certain.

    IMO and IMO only, you'd be better served having the calipers painted yellow and the wheels satin black. The car needs a pop of color and contrast.

    I think the stock wheels just don’t look great in person. They are the same as the stock 488 wheels I had on my 488 Spider. I found the spokes looked too clunky. I swapped them out for the forged wheels which you could probably get for 5-6k and it would look far better. I’m not crazy about the design on the F8 forged wheels but I bet the 488 forged would fit?

    Great car color choice!! IMO, pick another color in the brown family (darker, bronze or something) that matches the car color.

    The paintwork looks stunning. As others have said, stronger contrast is needed. How about dark grey, black or bronze pista wheels.

    I suggest gold or bronze instead. It will be hard to match the (very nice) color of the car, and if it’s off, you’ll be disappointed.

    It'll look too matchy-matchy. Contrast -- even if subtle -- is more interesting and eye-pleasing.

    That's personal. I think black is the biggest mistake you can make. It turns each wheel well into nothing but a big black hole. Hate the black wheel fad. Ruins both wheel designs and car designs.

    I was thinking about buying Forgeline wheels that come with Cup2 tires and were on a Pista instead. They have low mileage. Apparently the specs are 20x9 5x114.3 67.1CB +39MM SHALLOW

    Well in all fairness you picked an example of black steelies on a cheap car :p

    I was ready to hate the black wheels on my M3 but they've really grown on me. Plus I don't have to worry about keeping them super clean.

    And my GT4 looks good too. Though I guess those are a very dark grey rather than black.
