Aloha...I had 3 dings in my 206 and called my local "paintless dent removal" artist. One of them was on the rear buttress right on the top in between the edges....the other 2 on the front fenders..

my car is aluminum and as he was pushing up the body was flexing 12 inched to each side of the dings......by the time he was done I couldn't see any sign of what was there .....and believe me I have sharp eyes.......this is s great way to touch up a car with minor dings assuming your guy is as good as mine....the black and white plastic is to let him see curves and reflections

    Aloha from maui....gregg blue 69 206 GT

Interesting. I have a couple of small door dings that have been bothering me lately. Just curious; roughly how long did he take and approximately what did it work out to "per dent" (if you don't mind my asking)? Did he require access to the underside of the panel?

That striped reflecting panel is ingenious...

Great info, first time I've seen one in action. Did you see samples of his work before you let him loose on the Dino?

Awesome and congratz on the ding removals. Yeesh, I think that I would have to go inside if I saw the metal flexing that much.

Each paintless dent guy uses a different approach. My local guy here likes to have access to the underside of the panel, and uses different shaped prybars to push it out. He also uses a suction cup with a gradient dot pattern to see the dent in the reflection. Generally they don't charge per dent, but my guy charges me about $75 to do as many as he can get to. When I forst got the 348 I had him come out, and he got about 15 door dings for $75.

I love that! $75 for the dent removal, plus $700 airfare, plus $300 lost wages coverage, plus $125 hotel, plus expenses... no wonder FNA charges us $200 for a spark plug!

    (just kidding here, but c'mon?!)

And if anybody's got any recos for dentless people in L.A., please let me know (and please forward ay good people who live in WA to Mark!!)

Hey guys just registered here. As a PDR business owner I'd be glad to answer any and all questions for you. I have a pretty large network I communicate with and could definitely recommend some guys to you if you were looking.

On a side note, I'd love to own a Ferrari but I just don't see it happening in this lifetime. How many of you guys are small business owners?
