  1. I need some recommendations, im in the northern part of Illinois, the Libertyville and Highland park area. I just had my neighbors kid accidently throw a golf club as my brand new 2005 BMW 525i. It has a small ding on the front quarter panel right next to the light, right on a crease where the car lines flow togather. Neighbor appologized and offerd to pay for any damages. The kid was appreantly swining when the club left his hands and hit the side of the car.

I posted some pictures up at my forum, please give some feedback, it would all be greatly appreciated

DentBusters at 112 Old McHenry Rd in Wheeling.

    Phone 847-541-9396 or 800-475-dent.

Ask for Eddie, he's the manager and does great work.

He's worked on my Ferraris, RRs, Mercedes and other cars. I've always been happy with the results.

As long as the paint isn't chipped, you'll never know where the dent was.

    Have Eddie do the repair.

  3. Nice, im worried about one thing the dent is on a crease, but they do wonders now with paintless dent removal. Does he also do detailing ?

Thanks for the recommendations, glad to see he did some high end cars for you.

I had a bunch of dings taken out of my 308.
LFSC has a guy that comes by appointments... he is a GENIUS!
Got 'em all out, some in weird places. He even took the "outie" ding on the front bonnet from some previous owner who tried to close the front bonnet without releasing the safety.

My MB was dented on a crease. I can't see where that dent was now.

Also, I got a dent on the concave surface of an intake scoop on a 308.

Concave surfaces are very hard to remove dents from witout doing body work.

Eddie worked on it for close to 2 hours, but didn't charge me a dime; he wasn't happy with the results.

I don't know why, I can't see where the dent was! But I wasn't going to argue with him.

  6. Nice, I will take it to the dealer tommorow see what they say. If not its to Eddie all the way. He sounds top notch.

Most of the Dentless repair outfits do go to dealers to do work.

  8. Ah ok, im sure Knauz motors in Lake Bluff will give me some good information tommorow. They seem to be decently knowledgible in terms of being a dealer. Motorwerks of Barrington on the other hand has been a horrible experience, except for low prices on new cars. They sold me a car brand new, it has tons of swirls and scratchs. I detail as a hobby so I removed all of the paint imperfections.

I believe that Continental offers Paintless Dent Repair. I have also had very good results from the 'Dentbusters' chain in Addison. A Polish guy with either an Aprilia or Ducati,(Motorcycle) took care of mine. Never knew it happened afterward.

But,as already mentioned, pretty much all Car Dealers have someone who comes by their Facility to "Flex" the Cars....Paint touch-ups,Buffing,Cleaning,Leather Repair and Color,Dent Removal,ETC....

  11. Went to dealer, they said paintless dent removal isnt going to work here. There paintless dent removal guy looked at it and said he won't guarntee the job. And since my neighbor is paying for it, why should I settle for anything less then what the car was like before the accident ? So they quoted $680 to repair the entire panel, it will look flawless afterwards.
