This has been an incredible weekend. I have only felt this way after leaving Pebble Beach in August. First I enjoyed two days of Cavallino track time at Moroso, and then the Cavallino Classic on Saturday. Then I had the good fortune of chatting with James Glickenhaus, Marcel Massini, Paolo Garella, and dinner with Carbon McCoy. Not to forget finally meeting rufMD (platinum in the F40 class at Cavllino- nice job Jas!!) and daytonarick.

But then a fellow Scuderia South Florida member, John Temerian, and his partner Scott had to offer the new Palm Beach Super Car Weekend on Sunday. What an event for a first time venu!!! Not meant to be competition for Cavallino, but an incredible compliment to the weekend, the PBSCW was absolutely an incredible event. So fantastically planned!!!!!

So where else could you stroll amongst P 4/5, 0846, a Schumacher F1 car, two Veyrons, Aston Martin DB9 racing, the LeMans winning Audi, and about 100+ supercars? Top it off with a super VIP tent and championship polo matches within 50 feet. Michael Fux brought in about a dozen cars from his unbelievable collection. I am exhausted, but oh so content.

There are photos of many of the cars at PBSCW in the Florida section of FChat, but here I offer some different angles and my take on the day's events.

I hope PBSCW grows and gives more of you the incentive to come to Florida in January on a Wednesday night, attend all of the programs of Cavallino through Saturday, and finish your sunny weekend as I did at the Wellington polo grounds on Sunday at PBSCW. You will not regret the trip. You may even name one of your children after me for giving you this tip. You may offer your wife or sister as payment.

As a car enthusiast, no car nut is better, I would like the politics to disappear. Thank you John(s).

So here is Palm Beach Super Car Weekend 2007:

Andrew, not the USA, but just in south Florida. Coming up in the next 6 weeks, Morgan Adams Concours, Boca Raton Concours, and the Ferrari Challenge at Homestead.

And do not forget just a few hours away is the Sebring 12 Hours, Daytona 24 Hours, Daytona 500, Amelia Island Concours, Ferraris At St Armand's, Cars For The Cure in Orlando, Celebration's Concours in Orlando. All between now and the middle of April.

    Also no snow or ice, South Beach, the Gables, and Palm Beach. What a pity living here. Sorry. :}

Only Ferraris in the Cavallino Classic. No change.

You may be seeing photos of spectators automobiles in the parking area. Palm Beach super Car Weekend is not part of Cavallino, it is a separate event open to all types of cars by invitation.

They will not fight Ferrari, but in 2008 they will fight Alfa Romeo.

The people that now own the Audi and the Aston live in south Florida, and they were invited to display their cars at PBSCW.

By the time I saw the VW Art car, my fingers were too tired to take another photos. Or maybe it was those Grey Goose's with a splash of cranberry that did me in?

The first photo is of the guys behind PBSCW. The one on the right that looks like Orlando Bloom is an SSF member, John Temerian. Started promoting when he was 5. Consider they managed to get JG along with both 0846 and P 4/5, and over a dozen cars from the Fux collection. Not bad for two guys in their early 20's.

And P 4/5 also. Truly emotional experience.

And I just realized that is NNO talking to JG in the background of that first photo.

It is obvious you like your photos, they are very nice and posted on numerous threads, but this thread is about the Palm Beach Super Car Weekend, not Cavallino.

Thank you for the compliment. I really didn't mean to send a message that I was proud of them or wanted to somehow boast, which I really do not.. In my thread about Cavallino photos, which is in the appropriate sub-forum, you told me that they should be in this thread, so I posted them in this thread. If a mod wants to delete the thread in the Showroom section, that's fine with me.

    Thanks,

    John

The photos are great. What I said is that the photos should be in the thread in the Ferrari Discussion section meaning the Cavallino thread. Last year Cavallino photos were in this section. This way you can share them with more people as that thread has been going for a few days and has had a lot of views.

But this is the Palm Beach Super Car Weekend thread, not related to the Cavallino. So it is the wrong thread, that's all. You should put them in the Cavallino thread as they are excellent photos for the world to see.
