Panamera gone, 911 or Cayenne?

    Ok guys, I sold my Panamera today and am waiting for the new 991 to come out next year. My choice in the meantime is the 911 Black Edition Coupe 6 Speed or a Cayenne. The only reason I would get the Cayenne is that, I hardly drive my 430 right now, and if I get a Cayenne, I figure I will drive the 430 more. What do you guys think, give me your thoughts please.

    How about you don't get anything, so you have to drive the 430 all the time? :D

    I agree - just drive the 430. The only thing that bothered me about the 430 during the 1 1/2 years I used it as a DD was its insatiable thirst for gas.

    Why take a substantial loss on a 911 Black when you sell it inside of a year? Whether you go with a 911 or a Cayenne, I'd definitely buy used if a 991 is in your sights.

    Moreover, if you have your eyes on a special edition 997, just wait until next week when they release a new model - you may prefer it over the Black:)

    Issue with 430 as a DD is where I go during the day, if it was just parked at work, agree.

    I have a very good deal with Porsche on New Cars, but thanks everyone for their suggestions!

    I really like the Cayenne hybrid. if you can get a smokin' deal on one of those, that's what I'd get.


    since you have kid(s), can you get by with just a 430? or will there be times when you have more than just one passenger?
