Hi guys, I bought a 2014 panamera turbo earlier this year. Soon after taking delivery, I noticed a clunking noise turning at slow speeds especially up small inclines or speed bumps. The car only has just over 1000 miles. The car has been to the dealer twice and it's now in again. They don't know what's the cause. They've checked the front suspension set up and now checking wheel bearings and CV joint. Porsche Germany don't seem to be helping either. So my question is, whether any other fellow owners here have had the same experience? Thanks.
my wife has a 2010 panamera 4 with 30K miles. no clunking noises. it has been a perfect vehicle so far.
where is it coming from? what does it sound like? could be anything from a loose piece of trim in a door or dash to a bad steering rack...
Chas, it sounds like a loud mechanical knock. I Initially thought suspension or ball joint but for a brand new car.... Thanks Edward will have to register on rennlist....
just checked RL, a few others have complained about similar things, most often it seems to be poor lubrication of steering arms, suspension arms or sway bars.
