Panamera spotted - LA

Driving on Admiralty Way in the Marina, came up alongside a black sedan and I said to my wife, "There's a Maserati Quat--- hey! That's the new Porsche!" Georgia "Distributor" plates on the car. We drove side by side for a while, then at a light I took a pic with my phone that didn't really turn out. But the two young guys driving looked over and saw me taking a pic, I gave a thumbs up, they did a launch from the light and took off. It was loud on acceleration and moved surprisingly fast for a big car. They then pulled into the Marriott at the Marina.

Thoughts: overall shape very QP-like, at night I thought the car was a QP before recognizing it at second look. It does look lower-profile than the QP and the rear angle of the window area looks like a Lexus. Side vents look cool, there's a silver/chrome accent over the vent I hadn't noticed in the photos. However, the hatchback area is awkward IMO; looks more like a station wagon than a sedan. Front and sides look good. Pretty much the diagnosis from the pics, but the sides look much taller in person compared to the height of the car.
