The one on the bottom is just a USB drive that you can buy from Porsche for $20 or so. I hadn't seen the Panamera key yet though. That's very interesting.
Porsche sent me an envelope with some fancy 8"x11" press shots of the Panamera and a note saying if I gave them my address (?) they'll mail me one. I look forward to it!
Wouldn't need much to hack into the car. All you need is the master codes and a USB thumb drive and your in.
So is that the actual key for the car? Does it enable engine start/stop button via BlueTooth like Audi's do? Or do you have to stick it in somewhere to start it up? When you plug it into your computer does it give you all your stats of your driving? (Avg Speed, Avg MPG, Distance Traveled, etc) If so... what a great great great idea. That's one of the most creative innovations for a car I've seen in years.
Read the article on the attached link guys. Not the real key but just a promotional USB drive with all the info about the upcoming car. Real key will probably resemble this promotional piece but probably won't have a USB plug to it.
