A friend has a projector for sale and wanted to see if I would like it. He sent me a site with all the specs on it....problem is I don't know what I am looking at. Can some one chime in and say if this is a good projector. Heres the link

I just don't know what to look for(good/bad) with projectors. Thanks.

I guess I should let you know I'm not looking for the best of the best. I just don't want the picture to be terrible. I am probably going to hook my ps3 to it for blu rays but I don't think the proj is HD so that may not work.

It may depend how cheap it is. It is not a great projector for watching movies. It's resolution is not only lower then HD, but it is also in the old style 3x4 proportion. So it is not wide screen. So if you watch wide screen movies, you will reduce the resolution even further.
It is more of a business projector for hooking to a computer. The PS3 doesn't have much in the way of connectors and this projector does not have HDMI so you will need to convert to something analog. I am thinking the PS3 comes with a multi out analog connector, otherwise you would need one. All your really going to get is a big picture. The more I write, the more I would say pass (unless he is (practically) giving it away).

Okay, I greatly appreciate the info. Like I said, I know nothing about these things. He is selling it to me for 400. I wanted to project the picture onto the back of the house when we have people over(at night of course) I'm not looking for perfect HD but definetely decent.
