    Just wondering if it's possible to just paint a panel and still be able to get a perfect color match and obviously without blending into the adjacent panels ? I need a quarter panel resprayed and have spoken to quite a few body shops and most of them are like yes they would need to blend the paint.However i have found a body shop in Atlanta and the owner said he panel paints all the time with out any issues,is it possible or am i chasing something thats just not possible ?

    I am not a painter but I work with them all the time. I see panels painted without blending all the time. It is harder with some colors than others and is also harder with older paint than new paint but can certainly be done.
