The PAM 1117 Unique Edition of 270 Units made for Luminor's 70th Anniversary, to commemorate this milestone Panerai covers this watch with a 70 year international factory warranty until February 21 2091! Throughout this 70 year period, Panerai will maintain the watch in good working order. Using their recommended maintenance intervals of ~5 years that's your first (and likely last) 14 complete services at no additional cost to you!

As if that wasn't special enough, this watch was produced using Luminor Direct Metal Laser Sintering. DMLS is a specialized 3D printing process from Panerai's special projects group (Panerai Laboratorio di Idee) to create the Laser Synthesized titanium cushion case in this stealthy brushed finish. This process uses a high-power optical fiber laser to form the case from titanium powder only 30 microns at a time. Each layer of titanium sedimentation is laser-printed a mere 0.03mm at a time, with a 15.65mm thick case that's over 500 layers of fused titanium! Yielding a watch that weighs only 100grams with the strap!

This watch is super fun to wear into Panerai Boutiques as it always catalyses fun conversations with AD owners/managers/salespeople as they've rarely if ever seen one in person!

The sunburst finish blue sandwich dial looks phenomenal when it catches the light, and when that light is gone the incredible green glow of the Super-LumiNova takes over. Modern version of Luminor is featured throughout the watch, not just under the sandwich dial but also in the bezel, crown, crown guard, crown lock and even in the threading of the blue woven-nylon strap and the wooden Panerai presentation box has lume!
