Awesome. I remember seeing one when I was maybe 3 or 4 on the highway in Iowa. :)

    Yes Michael
the car currently resides in Ontario, and belongs to Peter Havlik. It has had many improvements to engine and suspension, but remains original in appearance with the exception of the low HID light conversion. Stunning car. Peter is a very active and helpful member of the worldwide DeTomaso community.

mine is an 1989 built at the tail end of 1988 and sold as a 1989...I have been told (I will have to get the production plate shot and post it up, also have to dig up the window sticker, well its a picture of it) mine is one of the last...mine is abused and used but its on a slow road to being restored. I have a picture up around the board somewhere.

The above shown picture is a beautiful, beautiful example. I would love mine to look that good, one day oh one day. :(

I would imagine technically the Si's were the last of the line.

That is the last GT5 series, I can say that from my knowledge. According to Pantera Intn'l (around 1996), they stopped production or Panteras in general around 92 and that 92 car was much rounder and sleeker. Hey maybe I got a hold of bad info, but that is what I recall.

You are thinking of the Si. There is a nice thread on them in this subforum.
