    Does anyone know the Pantone code for the red in the 355/360/550/etc tail lights?

    Do you mean the PMS # that will match the red in the taillights??

    If so, I'll swing by the shop tomorrow with my book, and see if I can get a match.

    I am making new tail lights (LED) so I wanted to know the exact colour for the lenses. My casting bloke said that there would be a Pantone code for the colour and a ratio for colour content. I guess if you could let me know both the illuminated and non-illuminated codes that would get us in the right ballpark.

    BTW I don't know what PMS stands for other than Pre-Menstrual Stress!

    Pantone Matching System

    It's a guide for printing that gives formulas for a broad range of colors either by using 4 color process printing called CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black) combined to produce full color, or by making an individual color by using some or all of a variety of mixing inks that include CMYK and about a 1/2 dozen others to produce one special color to print with.

    Rossa Corsa is about a PMS 185, for instance.
