Hey man, did they do your back window in 1 piece, or 3? Reason I ask, seems a bit hard to get it right around the sharp bend. Thanks.

If the shop you take it to is any good they can do it in one piece. The will need to know how to shrink the tint properly. But it can be done in one piece.

The guy is really good, and cuts it so close the edge that on other cars people thought the glass came that way, he was just seemed concerned, and felt he would get a more exact fit in pieces.

As you may know, they usually cut the pattern from the outside, and then when transferring to the inside on such a sharp angle its not exactly the same. Any coment from those that have actually done it, like PAP, are appreciated. Its just too got here and putting a new interior in, this should help keep some of the heat off it, not that it ever sits out that much.

A buddy of mine owned a tint shop for over 10 years, and I used to help him all the time. I know that they cut the tint on the outside, but then they put it back on and heat shrink it to the curve of the window twice. Once using a dry method with baby powder, on the non-tint side of the flim, to mold the general shape of the window. Then again with the wet method to for the edges of the film to get rid of legs, or runnners, so that they don't delaminate once the film is applied.

I have seen my buddy put tint on some rear windows that had way worse curves than a 348 all in once piece of tint. The main thing is making sure that the windows is REALLY clean on the inside, and using a good quality tint.

Hey what's up Tex? Yeah man it's one peice, just went and had a good look then. Shouldn't be a worry to be done but if they are unsure better to go and ask somewhere else to get it done. Make sure you post some pics after you get it done :) Going the limo tint like me?

Here is a before and after pic of the tint on my car ;)

Didn't think the car would look right with tint, hardly ever tint my sport cars, but it does, and with the weak AC on these things, should help. Doesn't just look good, looks better, and 3 others have confirmed without saying anything to them. Not as dark as limo though, the middle one. Got steering wheel on order, all the bling bling and will redo the interior, and has several performance bits, so I hope to unvail it to the brotherhood soon this summer :)
