    I was stricken with the 288 GTO bug about 15 years ago, I went to a track day at Lime Rock and drove behind a 288 with the license plate PARADISE.
    Anyone know that driver or Car?

    Engine number 00257.
    Black interior. Fitted with air conditioning and power windows.
    Sold new by the factory to the first owner, H. Martin Burdette, Jr. of Northfield/IL (USA), on September 10, 1985. Registered on Italian export plates, "EE 186 AK". Burdette had a dealer contract which he sold to a European exporter. The car was sold by Burdette on September 27, 1985 to Steve McMillan of Stamford, Connecticut (USA). Imported to the USA by Joe Marchetti. McMillan drove the car about 1,800 kms while he owned it. Acquired mid November 1985 by Richard Schoenfeld of Muttontown, New York (USA). Although the car was just eight weeks old at that time, Mr. Schoenfeld was already the fifth owner. Registered on New York license plates, "PARADISE'. Still owned by Schoenfeld in November 1989 and had 9,868 kms on the odometer. Advertised for sale in the Ferrari Market Letter, Vol. 14, No. 24 dated November 25, 1989 by Berlinetta Motorcars of Huntington Station, New York, with an asking price of US$ 1,250,000.00.
