Does anyone know if they service Ferrari's? I've called them probably 10 times, and they have nobody to answer their phones and no answer machine. Ferrari of Denver was backed up for service for a week and I wanted to see if they could add fluid to my convertible top.

Anyway, has anyone had any luck reaching these guys, and do you think they do good work, or am I better off waiting and getting it done at Ferrari of Denver?

I've seen Ferraris in the back at Paragon, also, try Dave Helms in Boulder. Not sure how quick you could get in either of the places, but it's worth a shot.

    Here's Dave Helm's website: http://www.****************.com/

Dave Helms is great. I highly recommend using him. FoD and Dave Helms are the only two shops on the Front Range that I would use.

Hopefully you were dialing the wrong number. If not they need to sit in the corner! Seriously, there is more to Ferrari service than just having technical knowledge, and Paragon has the whole package. Go to them for your service.

What? Are you saying that FoD and Dave Helms lack customer service? Your joking right? Please explain your above statement.

You have to be joking if you think Paragon has the whole package. Sure they put on a big show but that is all they do. My dealings with them were a joke. One of the worst places I have ever tried to buy a car. I would rather pay more money to FoD then give a dime to Paragon. Maybe other people had better service from them but my experience was otherwise. Having the whole package requires more then having technical knowledge, a show in a nice building and selling other people's cars on consignment.

Sgage: Take Sherpa advice, call Dave Helms or FoD. They are the only two that I would also deal with on the Front Range.

Having a bad day? Anyway, I remember you overreacting before on the LeMans thread.

You're out of line. The Le Mans thread has nothing to do with this. Anthony's thoughts are based on personal experience. Just because somebody disagrees with you doesn't mean they're having a bad day. You need to adjust your attitude.

Anthony's serious overreaction on The LeMans thread discredits his post here in my estimation. He's too irrationally defensive obviously. I've seen you get very defensive too, over that "other issue". Don't let relationships blind you to facts, Mike. So what if Anthony's thoughts are based on personal experience? My thoughts are based on personal experience too, and I can assure you I have a deeper understanding of the activities of the partys being discussed than you do. Anyway, I'm not sure why you need to so vehemently jump to Anthony's defense. What's really going on?

Yes, that's right, to do so would expose yourself to what you truly are as well as your baseless insults laid at all the people in this thread. Have a nice day.

Overreacting again I see, and lying too. Nothing I have said is baseless, and how you could assert otherwise is perplexing given your ignorance of the situations I have been involved in. Opinions are one thing, lying is another.

Back to your question before we got the thread hijacked. Call Paragon at 303-706-1234, sometimes telephone information will give you a wrong number. Ask to talk to Mathew or Anthony about servicing your Ferrari right away. I am only supporting who I think is the best and I'm willing to help them out. I have no interest in their business, and currently don't even have a car to take to them. PM me if you want other info. I'll try to help you. Good luck.

Thanks to everyone for the help. I took the car to a local (Colorado Springs) shop that specializes in body work on Porsche and Mercedes. They ordered the fluid for the convertible top and put it in. They charged me $150 for the fluid and labor, and my top works perfectly now.

I also needed to get my A/C charged, and the "Slow Down" light on my car had come on and cut down my power, and so I needed these looked at. I did speak to Paragon, and they were nice enough to recommend a couple other places that could look at something like that for me. I was under a time constraint, and I'm not sure if they don't do that work, or if they just didn't have time to do it, because I had told them I needed the car back in 3 days. I was wanting to take my girlfriend out to dinner in it for our anniversary. Anyway, they recommended either a shop in Boulder, or Ferrari of Denver.

Because FOD was closer, I scheduled an appointment there. They charged the A/C for me and fixed a leaking valve in the A/C system. They also looked at the "Slow Down" light, said that it was a ground problem most likely, and so they added a ground wire from the O2 sensor or ECM to the body of the car.

Unfortunately, 1/2 way home from Ferrari of Denver back to Colorado Springs, the stupid light came back on, the engine shut down to some type of limp mode, and I wound up stranded on the side of I-25. Very embarrassing. :) Anyway, I shut off the car for an hour, and then decided to try to limp my way home and have the car towed back to FOD Tuesday. I'm disappointed the problem didn't get fixed. They were nice to work with up at FOD, but I wish the "Slow Down" problem got fixed so I didn't have to take it back. Plus, I didn't get to take it to dinner, so that was a bummer.

It's definately something electrical though, because the light comes on right when I start the car, before the cats even have a chance to heat up. Plus, on the way home, the light would come on for 1/2 sec, blink off, then once in a while it would flicker on and off (not blink but flicker), and then sometimes it would blink on and off. Hopefully next week they can look at it agian and get it fixed up.

I'm going to try to drop by Paragon next week as well, just to look at their shop.

Hope that was enough of an update. I'll keep you posted on the "Slow Down" light problem.

    Steve

From what i heard, Paragon got one of the best Ferrari mechanics from FoD....
Wouldn't hurt to check them out...
As far as their cars (sales).. They seem to have a good selection considering they have a variety of cars..
Dave is another talented mechanic from what i heard through the FCOA.... He comes highly recommended!!!
I personally have had my "previous" F-cars serviced by FoD and they did an exceptional job....
Can't wait to get another F-car!!!!
