    There's a page with a link to get a press kit sent to you (which might give some answers about this) but I can't get the link to work. Could be my troublesome computer (which I really need to replace) or it could just be silly frogs trying to confuse us!

    Anyone else have any luck clicking on "Presse" then "Communiques" then "cliquez ici" ?

    Otherwise under accreditation it says that press is welcome at the T-gate, but no word as to what credentials they'd ask for...

    It says: "If you are a journalist or connected to the press, we would be happy to send you the packet, etc." and you can click to receive the press packet.

    It says over 10,000 press people go from over 90 different countries.

    It doesn't seem to be specific about how exactly to receive a press pass. Why don't you email them to the press email?

    edit: perhaps the "dossier de presse" is, indeed, what you need to get in (i.e. it's not just a brochure for you to read at home.) It appears as though you can order it after September 23.

    BTW, there is a great translation website called babelfish. Translates pretty much any language to another language. It really worked like a charm when I communicated via e-mail with the dealer my car came from in Germany (I don't speak German). You can copy and paste an entire e-mail and poof....you have instant translation.

    VERY familiar with Babelfish -- doesn't work on Flash. Thanks for the suggestion! Martin will be glad to know people still remember hsi stuff exists! :)

    Who wants to come as the "Photographer"? Yes, you're buying your own ticket, paying for your own hotel, etc... But you'll get to see the official introduction of the F430...

    Excellent. You're in. What hotel should I stay at?

    Anyone from NYC want to take the trip, too?

    Oh, and this is gonna be a brutal flight: It leaves at 6:00pm on the 22nd and gets in at 7:35 on the 23rd. Go through customs, drop off at the hotel, clean up and off to the show...

    C'mon! You know you want to come!

    Emil I can get you anything that you need for the Paris auto show, you can even say hi to my mother while your there as she will be there for press days, and she will be hosting a breakfast there representing the NY Auto Show.

    Here's the final itinerary for the EC Paris Auto Show Invasion:

    - Wednesday, American flight 44 from JFK to CDG
    - Arrive Thursday, 7:30
    - Check in to Hotel de Crillon
    - Paris Auto Show, Thursday and Friday
    - Ferrari Press Conference, 15:00 at booth B240
    - Saturday, Eurostar 9019 from Paris to London
    - Check in to St. Martin's Lane
    - Saturday afternoon visit to John Pearse and Connelly and that model car shop across the street...
    - Sunday, American flight 101 from LHR to JFK

    I'll get some fresh 430 pics online as soon as I can and try to edit some footage together on the plane ride home. I anticipate not getting much on Thursday -- but being able to get back to the cars on Friday while the rest of the folks are at other press conferences.

    Thursday night, I think that we've been invited to a "Mazda" party (New Miata?) and on Friday we may hang with the good people of Intersection Magazine.

    Stay tuned to this thread for pics from Paris...

    Sounds good. Have fun down there and take plenty of pics. Also take pictures of the new miata if there is one. That would be interesting to see.

    So where's the allocation for driving on the LeMans???

    Your right there, surely you want to be able to come back and say "I drove on the LeMans" ???!!!
