    The real Calder BMW "Art Car" made during the 70's with the help of the french auctioneer Mr Hervé Poulain who drove the cars at Le Mans (he also drove with Porsches and McLarens) is now in a Museum. It is considered as an art painting from the Master. Then, BMW made in cooperation with Mr Poulain a replica of the Calder car based on a real CSL. Mr Poulain had the pleasure to drive the car at the latest LeMans-Classic.

    I realized this one had to be a fake, too bad they used the Group 2 fender flares and not the group 4 that were on the original. I wonder why that was. There is a guy that runs www.coupeguy.com that makes really nice reproduction parts.

    This is probably old news, however, I just caught a video on HD Theater that was all about the Auto Union to be auctioned at the 2007 Retromobile show. Interviews with Jim G (Napolis), Nick Mason and a few others about the vintage car scene. Nice to finally watch in HD on a large screen!
