Just a heads up that I got some insurance on a specialty vehicle through Parish Heacock out of Lakeland, Florida that seems to be a real bargain. It is similar to the Hagerty deal, but is just another option. If anyone is looking for an alternative you might want to give them a try.

The premium from Allstate (who I have my 348 insured with) was about $1,000 per year. At Parish Heacock it is $269 for the same coverage.
    YMMV

I highly recommend Parish Heacock. I believe they will do older Ferraris but not more recent ones.

If you own a racecar, you can get a policy from PH called an "STP policy" which covers your racecar while it is in "Storage, Trailer (Transit?), and Paddock." There is no liability or road collision component to this policy, only comprehensive. And coverage ceases once you make the turn out of the paddock and onto the racecourse.

Affiliation: I sold a few Parish Heacock policies when I was in the insurance business. I have no relationship with them currently.

Contact Kim Overstreet at PH. He's the man to talk to regarding the STP policy.

BTW, you will RARELY see an unsolicited endorsement of an insurance company from me. I don't do that very often here on the open forum.

No problem, just thought it might be useful for some others here.
