    Flying out of HPN for the first time on Tuesday Nov. 6th, which is election day. Curious if parking there is realistic for a 8.am flight. Anywhere else to park nearby? Have heard parking there is tough.

    Never had a problem. If lot looks full hang a right, drive to the end and up onto the high roof level. For some reason people don't park there.

    I live a couple of miles away (Rye Brook) and parking has obviously gotten worse lately with all the new flights from Jet Blue and Airtran, but if you're there early enough, shouldn't be a problem, if the main lot is full, they'll make you go to the overflow parking area and then bus you over the short distance. It's a pain in the **s, but not a major thing. Get there early and be done!

    Be prepared, it is perhaps the most expensive airport parking in the area - almost $20/day.

    Thanks for all the replies. Taking the family to Disney and dont want to be pulling my hair out looking for a spot. 20 bux a day i can deal with.

    i parked my nsx on the roof and was gone for 3 days. i was at business meetings thinking to myself "i hope the car is still ok" but it turned out good. definitely safe place but i don't wanna pull stunts like that anytime soon.

    * Effective August 1, 2007, the daily parking rate in the Airport garage will be $22.60 per day
    and they probably add sales tax to that
