Looks like your new shoes may fix the problem, then. Not sure I have ever seen a set of those wear out on any car. Amazing what 434 lb-ft of torque and drag racer gearing can do.

I see it a lot. If not properly adjusted it is impossible to know if they are off.

Needs to be properly adjusted or it will happen again.

Brian- My experience has been mainly with Corvettes, which use a similar system. Sounds like the Ferrari system is not as reliable.

The springs that retract everything JUST work and only when properly adjusted.

I have no familiarity with Corvettes built since 1967 so can't comment other that to say I am not surprised Americans came up with a better system than the Germans.

    Hey TZ,
Can you tell me where you purchased your Brembo Big Brake kit and approx how much it set you back? I have a 575 and I'm considering either the Brembo Big Brake kit or perhaps a set from Mov'It or Porterfield.

As per Taz's suggestion, I contacted
Jason Godsil, and he provided instant relief !

Ned drums and mounting hardware came quickly,
and at reasonable (Think: FERRARI) price.

Still waiting for shoes from Ricambi.....

I bought the full set, 4-wheels, from another
FChat member, and paid about $5,000.(Used)

    Fair for both of us.......

Looks like you have the problem licked now. I have seen some affordable titanium bolts so will be interested to see what you found.
