Parking fees!!!!

Laughlin is nice, had a couple of romantic getaways there. Definitely a change of pace from the strip.

 

Wife and I stayed in Laughlin after we got hitched in Vegas. Seemed like an older crowd, of course, we were much younger then!

Our friends used to live out in Henderson, and those casinos seemed pretty chillaxed. Ditto the places way south on Las Vegas Blvd. However, I don't go to Vegas for the gambling, I go for the restaurants. And, the Pinball Hall of Fame! And, one day, shooting machine guns! So, I'd rather put up with the hustle and bustle of The Strip.

That is correct. I forgot about that since I always valet, but that is true, you can scan your Nevada driver's license and that gets you in and out free.

 

FYI the large parking lot between the LINQ HIGH ROLLER and KOVAL no longer has free parking.

 

I find that acceptable. My wife went a got an MGM credit card so we could get free parking at their resorts. I was opposed to her doing it but I don't wear the pants in the family.

Personally I like Laughlin. I have fun there but I don't go when it's this hot. We love being around the river.
