    I can't sleep and turned on the TV... Landed on Parking Wars.

    It is a half hour long ass whipping of the highest order.

    Mr and Miss Meter Maid, I'd like to help you by dispelling some common misconceptions you seem to have about your job:

    1)Your job is not challenging.

    2)You never wanted to be a parking attendant when you were growing up.

    3)Your job REALLY IS the same thing every day.

    4)You're not "Making a difference"

    5)No one flirts with you because you're attractive. They are trying to get out of a parking ticket.

    6)Your job isn't fulfilling.

    7) You can tell us you like your job a million times and neither you nor I will ever believe you.

    8)No one is honking, waving, shouting to you because they have any sort of respect for you. It's because there are 3 TV cameras following you and they think they'll see themselves on TV.

    What’s this you talk about? Some new really stupid reality show that should have never made it further than the drunken discussion where it was brought to the attention of some moronic TV executive is what I’m picturing.

    Second-best reality show ever! It follows the Philadelphia Parking Authority around on their beats. I only like it because I live here, and I like how the local color shines through.

    In my favorite episode, its 3:59 pm, and a ticketer is looking at her watch waiting patiently for 4 pm rush hour, so she can ticket a whole row of parked cars and have them all towed. She looks at the camera and says something like, "Rush hour is my favorite time of day. I'm not fascinated by it or anything. I just like it a lot."

    Then there's the big beautiful woman who goes to get her car out of the impound lot, and she's wearing a shirt that says "Buy Me Stuff."

    i find it hilarious. all the saps need to do is read the signs or feed the meter. or how about park in a garage. it just shows nitwits trying to beat the system and how they cry when they get caught. i empathize with the meter maids. their job is certainly neccesary as i helps to fill the city's coffers. everytime i think about this show it makes me smile. ha ha.

    Okay, I watched a little of this show, but on the off note I was watching Jackass, and it showed one them dressed in a fairy costume. He was a fairy meter maid, and went around (skipped) putting change in the meters. Just hilarious.

    I saw one episode where a guys car was getting booted and he gets in and drives away hitting the car in front of him and the van parked next to him, all the while a camera crew is right there.
