Very common when new front clips were needed as there were no early type front clips available from the factory. Easy enough fix for a talented body shop during any restoration.

    Jon,

I know when the Droopy nose was being discussed, you had an idea what it cost to fix.

What do you think it would cost to build a proper nose?

Not much if we did it, alas my body man skipped town. You can find him in Anytown, USA.

I knew this car was coming up for sale, because I knew where it was for years, but it was not accessible.

It seems in pretty bad shape, so it'll need a bajillion parts, many of which will be rare or unavailable. I instantly thought of @omgjon when I saw this at Sothebys the other day, plus my personal Dino guy.

I wonder what a restoration estimate would be?

Engine and GB are pretty easy, body parts are available or can be fabricated, fiddly bits are mostly available these days ... I mean how hard can it be?

Normally yes but doesn’t a 206 have an all aluminum body including the nose? This nose appears to be steel.

Well, if it is an E series nose, it is 100% steel, and wonder about the hood?
If a big enough prang, the hood went South also.

    Regards, Alberto
