Ask Woferrari, he has successfully done it and has never regretted doing it.

Interesting, it seems this would be a natural for him to do this since he took the bold step of pioneering a conversion. He probably knows more about.this than anyone else of this forum. If I were doing it I'd buy the kit from him.

That kit was only $3.750, i got a quote for $20k for parts only from member "///Art".

    Wonder what the difference is?

Send him a PM and ask, I know him and he's a real stand up guy and knows what he's doing. Actually, knowing what's involved, the 20K figure seems way off!
    Just saying...

I too can vouch for Lorenzo (Woferrari).
Bought my conversion kit from him a couple of months ago. A smooth transaction and he will give you tons of support over the phone/mail (if needed).

The kit he’s got for sale right now seem pretty complete. Missing a few parts such as the bowden cables, the long (and utterly annoying to get in place), clutch feeding pipe, + a few more...

I bought quite a few new parts even though most was usable. I figured ”since I was already in there” it was just as good to change out all worn looking parts anyway.

The conversion of the 360 is easier compared to the 430. The main difference will be the 430 e-diff who will demand a different cable stem compared to the f-1.

Both 360 and 430 demands engine ECU’s and instrument cluster to be set to manual mode afterwards. FoA is my tip...

How much were the extra parts when doing the conversion using Woferrari's kit? Does one use the existing center console piece for it (the bit between the seats)?

Yes, for the F430 you would use the same center console with a slight modification

This sounds awesome - Not in my immediate future as car is on finance and under warranty, but would this same conversion / conversion kit also work on a 430 Scud or are there differences to be accounted for?

now that you have done this, what is the car like to drive?

I found the stick car I have driven, kind of hard to shift, at least compared to the F1 which does work pretty well and yields excellent downshifts with associated sounds

but the gated shifter is awesome to look at for sure.

Well.... I haven’t driven it yet. Getting it into gear without having the engine running works but I have red that others have problem when engine is hot... So I might be in for a real surprize the first time I fire it up.

I’m doing a lot of other work to the car as well (since I’m ”already in there”). Doing a job like this makes you find out that other things needs attention too, you see.

The price for all the parts if bought directly from Ferrari in UK is £10.000. Then you also need approx. $1000 for reprogram of the ECU and instrument. If you are going to let a Ferrari specialist do the job, add 40 hours of labor on top of that.

So the quote from ///Art of $20k for parts only was definitely too much.

All of the parts we purchased brand new through Ferrari with 10% Dealer discount came to 16,700. Not including sourcing a clutch pedal and clutch line and power unit. Just a brand new power unit for a manual car alone runs $5,000.00.

Post your parts list. I'll tell you if you have everything.

New clutch pedals are nonexistent, the cables are on back order, and the Power Unit for the E-diff is unavailable. The cost of the Power unit is 5,000.00 USD, it adds up VERY fast.

Be carefull guys in the U.S. who is writing down these part numbers. They all look correct to me, Its been awhile, but im pretty sure #202975 is for Euro cars so please double check. Also, the part number for the left side engine harness varies per assembly number of your car.

Fellas, note: One minute Ferrari will estimate a due date for out of stock parts, the next day that can change to NLA. Same goes for NLA today, tomorrow it may be in stock.
