I am missing a couple for the bulkhead behind the seats and it looks like there is a "20" and "24" version, I presume referring to grip lengths (in mm?). I do not know how grip length is measured, anyone have any pointers on what fasteners to use and where to get them (Ricambi America may have them, but at $120 a pop I want to at least make sure I get the right part)?

Keith you may want to try Nolan Robinson at Ferrari Houston parts (713) 772 3868.

I had fun replacing some of my pins last year. There are actually 3 different “item #22” part numbers for 3 different lengths: 61767700 Pin I.15, 62547100 Pin I.24, and 62547000 Pin I.20.

Mine uses 8 of the longest (35mm) pins (Pin I.24 62547100), and 2 of the medium (32mm) pins (Pin I.20 62547000). My car did not use any of the smallest (27.5mm) pins (Pin I.15 61767700).

Know which lengths you need. Swap existing pins into the empty holes to find which lengths work. Measure those lengths and say “give me x of these”.

I got pins from multiple sources, including FNA, and they were wrong lengths. The pin lengths are very similar and I got the right p/n bag filled with wrong length pins!

FNA didn’t believe me until I sent them a picture of what I asked for and what I received. Geez.

I think that because these cars are hand built, and the internal fitment varies somewhat, they had to have multiple pin lengths to get everything to work. Your car’s pin usage may be different than others!

Thanks - that is what I suspected. I am going to purchase an assortment of Camloc 27S3-series fasteners from Aircraft Spruce or the like, as I am 99% sure these are Camlocs. Note the part numbers above and the stamping (very tiny) on the head of the parts on the car appear to refer to grip lengths. The Camlon 27S3-20 and -24 appear to be what I need and dimenaionally match the 2 longest pins in the photo above. At a few bucks a pop, I can order 20, 22 and 24 grip lengths and see how it goes and have spares for the inevitable future lost pin. I already had to go through the mix & match process as the pins the fell out when I removed the bulkhead were different sizes, so I had to 'speriment with pins to get them to fit.

Cool. Please let us know what you find out. $5 a pop is a lot better than $110!! - Tim

Keith, I know I'm not being particularly helpful here but don't you wish whomever is working on the car would not lose these things in the first place?

I am informed they were missing previously and they are hard to see down below the seats
