Wondering if anybody has had the problem with the electric daytona seats where the back doesn't lock into place, meaning you can tilt it forward without using the latch..

I would bet it would be cheap to have fixed, but thought I would check with the f430/360 world to see if anybody has had this issue and how they fixed it..

    Thanks...

Not sure I understand your post but you should not be able to tilt it forward without lifting the lock/latch. Sometimes mine needs to be lifted up and down a couple of times to make it work... probably from lack of use.

Disclaimer: Mine are electric standard seats

Hey Kevin, yes you should be able to do that BUT I can. Something has broken or has come disconnected in the seat that allows me to do this... Also even worst, when break hard the seat comes forward.. not to safe... I put a seat belt in the seat to prevent that..

    Thanks

This happened to me one time when I was sittings in the door cleaning /detailing and pushed the seat button with my fat as*. Thought I broke the seat! If I remember... operate the switch and pull the seat forward / back and the gear track will catch.

Sorry my answer is not very technical, I just fiddled with it and all was good.

If your passenger seat isn't a lockin, don't start a knockin.
