Tried a search and did not find anything so hopefully this is not a repeat.

On my 1995 355B, the passenger side metal-drilled kick panel is not firmly attached to the firewall. Looks like it was put on with double-sided stick tape?

How does the panel attach to the back metal plate behind it? Also, what is behind the plate? I see a hinge with screws.

    thanks

you turn the 2 screws a half turn and they lock in.

I'm guessing he has a Hill (or similar) plate in his car, which would need to be secured with screws or something similarly secure. I haven't seen one, but I wonder if you could use longer 1/4 turn fasteners and go through both the drilled plate and the fuse box cover...
