    I took the panels off the passenger door today. I brought it by my mechanic. He put a new switch in place and the window worked!!! I decided to remove the panels from both doors and am in the midst of giving them a good clean.

    Good outcome! Many of my small Mondial issues have been solved with the most basic and simple solutions, the cars are pretty well built, so unless they have been stored for ages in a damp climate, or never used, they work as reliably as any modern car I have ever owned.

    clean the rails with a solvent degreaser and regrease with white lithium grease
