How's this sound 1981 308 GTSi 5th gear, 3,000 RPM and about 65 MPH. I Go to pass some cars on the road Drop to 3rd gear, RPM's go to 5,500 and at 6,500 I go to 4th and at 6,500 again I go to 5th. I AM like a rocket by this time. Car runs great like this but I hope I am not being to harsh on it Jeff
You're shifting too early - run that sucker out! No, you're probably not hurting your car. In fact, that's about the only way to get our cars moving. I love the sound of the engine up in the higher RPMs, too!
