There are a couple of companies that will sell you an interface to display the 9500 warnings on the left hand information center on a California T. This eliminates the display unit supplied with the detector. The YouTube video that shows this looks cool. Does anybody have any experience with this? Where do you mount the control unit?

    I've been a die hard V1 fan

    UNTIL the 9500ci came along!

With that said, I have one in almost everyone of my cars.

The good thing about the kit is that the wiring is sufficient to put it pretty much anywhere you'd want too.

I'll try to snap a few pictures in the morning on my way out to give you examples.

You will want to put it somewhere discrete while still accessible, because you may find yourself using the mute button and or the marking locations in the beginning.

Oh, and unless you just like blue, made to the red display in the mirror , it shows better when it's bright out!

In google type " 9500ci Ferrari interface". Look at the 49 second video. I talked to the manufacturer yesterday. He sounds straight.

    Has anybody used this?

I've seen installs done to replace the ashtray which was nice and stealthy.
