    Not buying it. I just don't see how they could have won that race.

    Alonso could have won it if he had passed MS and done superfast laps instead of just following MS. But he couldn't pass MS. Call it luck or lack thereof, but I don't think it was a strategy issue. The track doesn't allow for easy passing and you have two cars and drivers at almost equal speed. Reversal of 2005.

    The same strategy at Nuerburgring would give them the win ceteris paribus. But not at Imola.
