have 5970 prices moved at all since this thread was started a year ago? 5970 inventory on ebay looks low compared to the past few years
Just get the 5016 and be done with it! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I checked too, it seems like the asking prices are up and the stock is down. I'll ask my guy when I next talk to him.
I really think you should consider letting me take that one off your hands. Please!? I’ll even pay shipping and send you all my kids leftover Halloween candy! Congrats on what could very well become be a future classic.
I'm curious - what do you Patek aficionados think of the 5320G retro look? Do you think it will go down as a classic? I haven't seen one in person yet. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I love the look, but personally - I would have preferred PP used a more classic style hour and minute hands, something like those on the 5170.
Image Unavailable, Please Login Love Patek. I’ve pretty much sold all my other pieces and only will buy Patek going forward. A few of my pieces:
I like the look a lot. My only issue is that I prefer somewhat larger watches being 6’4” tall. Till recently Patek didn’t have much in the 41-42mm range. Now they are getting a few 42mm models and I absolutely love them!
^^ You have a beautiful set. The 5524 has also caught my eye recently. Not a traditional looking Patek.
You are right. Not a traditional Patek at all. I fell in love with it when first released. Loved the size of it. And I knew it was a winner with all the people on the net peoclaiming how ugly it was! Lol
^^ LOL. Based on lack of many replies to my question about the 5320G, seems like people don't have nice things to say so they are quiet!
My great collection starts with: 1 Calatrava, 1 sports (aquanaut or nautilus) and one chronograph, I like the 5170. I really enjoy wearing the aquanaut, the way it sits close to the wrist is brilliant. I feel that a lot of the dials on the complications and grand complications aren't well balanced, but Patek does subtle very well. Love the 5320 FWIW.
