First of all I tell you that my English may not be that good...but I will try to write as simple and understandable as I can. I just saw that Paul has been banned for one month...for what? Because he has integrity and don´t hesitate to ventilate his belief??? He has been jumped on and no wonder he´s fighting back...whitch of course can get harsh sometimes. (understandable....look at politicians). I have another Ferrari owner friend who once said "It´s amazing how rude these people are on the Ferrarichat site". And I have to agree...especially after dealing out Ferrari serial numbers to each other. A real low mark. Don´t throw the reason of the ban in my face...I know the reason...but I dont´t think it is fair anyway...cause in a democratic society nobody should be banned from telling his beleief. P4 Staff First fill out your profile, its not only considered rude not to, but also most of the people who have popped up in support of Paul havent been able to fill in any details giving rise to suspicion that they are merely alter egos of Pauls and therefore giving weight to the argument that Paul has some ulterior motive in his posting habits (is he upset that he couldnt claim one of his recreations was 0846?) Second, Paul may well have lots of valid arguments, however by continually making the same point without actually providing any proof all he achieved was to upset people who were prepared to wait until Jim G has finished both building his car and publishing his evidence of why he believes his car lays claim to chassis 0846. Many people felt aggrieved that Pauls constant hijacking of threads disrupted the often-fascinating pictures and commentary of Jims re-build. The majority of Pauls threads were on this one subject and I for one cannot remember a thread he contributed to in the UK section, With Pauls obviously in depth knowledge of these cars it is a great pity that he chose not to contribute in a positive manner on other topics instead of posting in a hostile and non productive manner. I for one don't give a rats A$s whether Jims car is 0846 merely that I've been able to watch as somebody builds / rebuilds a car with such a fascinating attention to detail.
I put the whole p4 thing on my emotional ignore list. It all got way out of hand. I missed what caused his 1 month ban. Can someone post the thread? Can't make an informed decision without all the evidence, right?

Paul its called humour perhaps you should try it some time maybe then you'll understand and try to make a positive contribution rather than behaving like Ferrarichats own Piers Morgan. Oh and just so you know my profile joke is based on one of my favourite Monty Python sketchs and has nothing to do with any sexual orientation (and in this case your comment is not only very childish but also both libellous and wrong) but your comments do rather answer any doubts I had about the validity of any arguments youve made on FChat relating to a certain P4 restoration.

I disagree with this, Paul is sitting back as a replica owner and trying to stick it up somebody who thinks they may have a genuine car. This person (Jim) is going through all the correct channels to verify the car as original OR not ... Paul cannot accept this and like the rest of us wait until the official result comes out. Everybody has their opinions, and we are all just being mature and waiting ... Paul is desperately trying to turn this into a 'I am a hero and know more than all of you', and is not at all trying to help a fellow FerrariChat member, Jim.
