Well yes, that's pretty obvious. However the Ferrari of 1996 was probably the equivalent of this year's Sauber or Red Bull and Michael did pretty well in that. Alonso didn't win any races when he was at Minardi, but his talent was pretty obvious.
I wish one day we get up and hear that Minardi are no longer a part of F1. Paul Stoddart and Minardi are the worst elements currently in F1.

The 96 Ferrari might have been compared to 2003 Renault. Much faster than the current Red Bull or Sauber.
