    This threads sure going south.

Please honour this distinguished vet with a dedicated thread. Using his life to just prove a point and diminish another is disrespectful.

I am sure people who he (PW) helped through charity feel like they have lost a truly great man.

After all it is not many who seem to be as directly involved as he was, and even seemed to have a mission about it.

Many of those in the third world who get charity help, probably feel like their world is being saved. Whether it is or not in the long run doesn't matter much then. if it have an instant positive impact on their lives they will be forever grateful.

Not entirely fair comparisson that. PW did an enormous amount of charity help. Not just throw some money at the problem but actually going out there himself. Both in the USA and internationally.
+1 His life ended through no fault of his own. I'm sad for ''Babe'' but he got to see his kids grow up and perhaps even see them have grandkids. PW's daughter recently moved closer and he was going to lessen his acting work so that he could spend more time with her.
    +1
Going on on my comment above:

He also helped thousands of children who recently lost EVERYTHING they had (parents, family, friends, their homes, little toys they had). Not by coming to their country and say ''I'm Paul Walker, I star in movies, let me take a picture with you so people think I'm a humanitarian''...He helped organize medicine, tools for rescue, toys for the kids (will help the kids GREATLY)...No need to go on.

As said, it's not a f'in competition, but to say that Paul was merely an actor who made his money is incredibly naive. He's touched thousands of peoples life through his charities alone, and now with the massive publicity (through his death) his charity has received...I'm sure it'll go on for YEARS and with donations, the charity will help tens of thousands more victims through natural disasters.

Speaking of CGTs..........................a little birdy told me that the missing CGT of VR A has been recently spotted being driven.................................... And the owner has not seen the car since before he drove off a cliff....

Losing the rear (too far sideways) of a mid-engined or rear-engined car is night and day different to the driver than losing the rear of a front-engined car.

Losing the rear of a car with horizontal shocks is night and day different from losing the rear of a car with vertical shocks.

    The CGT has both.

They are putting way too much energy into this.

The financial advisor was out 'showing off' his new car to his movie star buddy. Public roads are not designed to be used as a racetrack. They went around a corner too fast and ended up in a light pole. That's all it was. It was a tragedy, RIP to the guys, and time to move on.

Different cars recover from extreme oversteer differently (as do different drivers).

The CGT is not going to be listed as the easiest of all cars to recover from extreme oversteer.

I hope by seeking other problems the ridiculous idea of suing Porsche now goes way.

I am sure now the city is now at fault for those dots......

I wouldn't put much faith in those claims being made by the fringe news media. The father has made a number of public statements and none of them have been "We're going to sue Porsche for this."

The fact that they may have retained legal counsel probably has much to do with sorting out the Paul Walker estate and not necessarily pursuing a legal claim over fault that is yet to be determined.

Well I hope so. I'd like to restore some faith in his Legacy as he appears to have had a great life of giving his time for others.

I could imagine a World without dots and speed bumps. A posted speed limit is enough to keep those that follow the law in check, those that don't won't be detoured by either of those things.

I find it tough to cross most speed bumps in many of my cars at the posted speed limit :)

For my downtown home the building decided to speed bumps near the exit and entry gates of the garage were a good idea. My Ferrari's are ok stopping first. My CGT can't go across without scrapping them. PITA!

Guys... (h20, blu, etc.) read the article, please...

Look at the big full color picture in the article.

THERE ARE NO SPEED BUMPS! The title is deceiving.

They are talking about the reflective dots (Botts Dots) on the pavement.

They protrude from the pavement only about 1/4".

Did you read the article? Title makes it sound like speed bumps but there are not any.

I'm not 'after you'... you just happened to chime in.

Sorry if you feel targeted... you do post some weird stuff.

Thought your video of you running a bunch of stop signs, in HD, was funny.

    Done :)

It's TMZ.com - why would anyone even click on that?

Lets just wait for the real accident investigators to complete their work, huh? I am sure the LASD has a good team on this one given the attention it has received.

Not meaning to open a can of worms but doubt if we'll ever know the cause (except for speed info) - Senna's crash was covered by different cameras (even Schuey's onboard) and competent analyzers but no one is still 100% sure what exactly happened.

    RIP.
