Anyone here have any connections to the kart track at PBIR?

I have an ICC shifter sitting around gathering dust that I need to use and could use some help. I'm looking at possible maintenance but more importantly someone to get me on my feet. I'm just looking to do practice sessions and have fun. At 40 I know my meager ability and have no delusions of grandeur.

Hi Anthony, you may consider posting this question
in the Florida section as there are a good number of
South Florida guys heavilly into karting.

Haven't looked at the PBIR website lately but they may
have information about their open sessions on the kart
track there (days, hours, rates, etc.). However, it may be
best to call the track ahead of time to confirm as with the
ever-changing management there, attention to the kart
track has been inconsistent at best.

There are also open sessions at Homestead Miami International
Speedway on the karting layout in the parking lot which
may work for you or to keep skills sharp, there is always
Xtreme Indoor Racing in Ft. Lauderdale which is a lot of
fun and you don't tear up your own equipment.

    Hello Old Man!
    LOL
I think that at PBIR they have people that can help with the maintenance and driving instruction. You should give tham a call. I know one of the original owners of the new PBIR but he is out of the loop for the kart track.

    P.S.
    Nice seeing you last Saturday
