What an amazing time. P 4/5 has taken on a life of her own. I was really stunned by the number of people who came by to see her and thanked me for bring her. John and Scott reduced the price to make the event even more affordable in this economy and there were thousands and thousands of people who attended. A Mom brought her Son from Atlanta to see P 4/5.

FCHAT Sponsor Universal brought their Koenigsegg which was wonderful and I had a fantastic time. Dino was kept busy as well and it was great to have her out in the sun.

It was great seeing all of the FCHATTERS who came by!!

I couldn't make it (I'm at the Rolex 24) but I'd like to thank you for for always sharing your beautiful cars. It's owners like you that make these gatherings even more special.

Hey Jim, it was great to see you again this year and I had a great time talking to you for a few minutes. As always the P4/5 and Dino looked great! Thanks for checking out the pic I took of the P4/5 and posting it up here....

Let me know if you want me to send the high resolution photo to you.

Hope to see you again next year!

It's a shame that this event is on the exact same day as the Cavallino Classic event at the Breakers.

    Was Supercar a joke?

We ventured to Worth Avenue Friday evening to see the Spada event. When we arrived
at 150 Worth Avenue, nothing was going on at all until we ran into some people who told
us that the event had been moved further down the street.

So, we went to the new location and found a few people mingling around but no Spada car
on display. Not sure if anyone knows this or not but the Spada was on display at the Paris
Auto Show last year but on the third floor along with displays of aftermarket items and tires.

Since no one seemed to know where the car was, we left the event and opted against attending
anything further since the organization seemed to be rather lacking. The race which was promoted
on the website never seemed to materialize as repeated Email and phone calls to the Supercar
office were never returned and no one ever responded in this forum.

We wanted to give Supercar a chance since friends had attended previous events and highly
recommended it. However, this was an incredible let down to say the least. However,
Cavallino had great organization and a very nice selection of cars on display which we very
    much enjoyed.

Would love to attend both, but unfortunately that's not an option for everyone... for a variety of reasons.

Would like to have seen a little more professional courtesy when organizing this event but then again, I don't really know the entire story. I'm sure there's a story with two sides and the truth floating in the middle somewhere.

I did not go to any of the Supercar weekend promoted events except for the car show on Saturday. There was a big crowd, and lots of cars.
I got confirmation of my registration of a car by email and notice of the night parties also by email.
Sorry the supercar event did not work out for you, but glad the Cavallino show suited you well.
I had a good time at both, but spent more time at Cavallino events this year.
    :)

A lot of people did both. The Spada NS was due port clearance issue. Very interesting car. Had a great dinner with those guys. Fantastico evening.

Well, this is interesting as this Spada event was being billed as a major media event which
is still posted on Supercar website as such...

    Friday January 23, 2009
WORLD PRESS EVENT: SPADA CONCEPT NORTH AMERICA
North American Debut of the Spada Codatronca
Exclusive Palm Beach VIP event location for VIP ticket holders, car owners and sponsors only.

If the world press is there and the Spada isnt, does it make a noise?

None of the people in the photo in post #6 mentioned it to me.

An esteemed Cavallino exhibitor told me that a number of cars were no shows there as well.

    **** happens.

Jim, I would also like to thank you for bringing out your amazing cars. I wanted to personally thank you on Saturday but you were swamped by people at one point and when I made a second pass through I couldn't find you. That was my first time seeing both in person and it was something I will never forget.

Here's about 200 of my photos that I took from PBSW, the walk across the bridge to the Breakers, and the sidewalk/parking lot at Cavallino. Also two videos I shot of some pretty loud cars.

I hope everyone had as great a time as I did.

    Peter
