    I was thinking to make a program for my computer to save all maintenance and lubrication operations that I have done, and what’s going to be done. That maybe gives me a message if I forget something. (This is maybe too complicated).

    When I buy an old car I do not trust that all services have been done. Then I very often change things before I need to.
    Then it has been nice to have a computer program.

    I don’t think I am the best person to make a program like this. (I like better when my hands are dirty).

    That’s why I hope somebody already has something like this? (It doesn’t need to be too complicated.)

    Hi,

    You can generally use an Excel spreadsheet for something like this. Keep track of (a) Maintenance and (b) parts and upgrades, and then the date, cost, mileage, and other notes. That's really all you need.

    I mean... I *could* take a day and write something customized but I can't think of a benefit of doing so.

    If you want a maintenance schedule, one does come with the car (see the warranty book - here you can keep track of required maintenance (e.g., 37500mi service, etc.) and stamp when done.

    Did you have something else in mind?

    Lots of programs like that already available. Google for car maintenance record program for a few selections, some with free trials. I haven't used any of them
