I know much has been written about this subject, however, I just purchased a very fast , high power P.C. with 30" screen. What is the besT formula 1, gt, RACING PROGRAMS AND RACING WHEEL AVAILABLE.
I have x-box 360 with their microsoft feedback wheel and hate the twitchiness and that the slightest movement of the wheel puts you in a big turn! Is it adjustable?
I would really like the most realistic, highest resolution, racing game for a P.C. with the most realistic wheel [not complicated, but an experience similar to my stradale on the track!

Or, are there better systems on playstation 2 or 3? Is x-box 360 the best and I just need a better wheel?
All recomendations welcome; dreding the winter ahead.

Logitech G25 wheel. I've heard good things about GTR2 for a sim. Andreas will have much broader and better suggestions I'm sure.

Logitech G25 is your choice. If it's too expensive, try to get a Logitech Driving Force Pro (works not only with PS2, but also with PC)

Speaking of sims, there's no way around the Blimey/Simbin games. GTR2 if you're into modern GT racing, GTL if you favour vintage motorsport. Another suggestions is rFactor. There are zillions of amazing free mods around, everything you can imagine, from historic rallye cars to current Formula 1.

PC Racing Games are limited, other than the Need for Speed titles (which are fun) there are few up to date games. GTR2 is pretty good, but the graphics are a few years old, and there hasn't been an F1 game for the computer in like 5 years. I also have Test Drive Unlimited, not quite a simulator but still a fun racing game with Ferraris.
If you want the best of the best racing, try PS3, 3 games look amazing on it, the F1 game, and when/if they come out Gran Turismo 5, and Ferrari Challenge.

What type of PC did you get? Specs?
