You're either a Porsche person or your not. That's my F430 in the photos above and in the short few months I've owned it, I've completely fallen in love. But if I could only keep one of my cars, it might very well be my Porsche.

    +1

Absolutely stunning in person and the owner seemed like a very nice guy.

Thanks for the great photos (as usual), Mike.

The only Porsche I ever drove was a 996 GT3 and it was real fun. I'd like to try out a CGT one day. :)

Yes, we ate at Kreuz. It's been so long since I ate there, I had forgotten how nasty it was. The previous time I was there I just happened to have some Rudy's BBQ sauce in my car so that helped out. After this last time eating there I appreciate Rudy's 1000 times more!

Nice pics, as always! I gotta get involved/enrolled w/ the Porsche club & Ferrari club locally/regionally, as well as be more active w/ the "Hill Country Drive" outings, to see & appreciate all these fine vehicles more often!

    Thanks for the share...

There's a HCD outing this Saturday that should be good (assuming the weather holds).

There is also a gathering of 928's at the Hooters Lakeline on Saturday at 11:30... Love to see some Fcars and/or other P-cars if anyone is interested. Shoot me a PM so I can watch for you! You can't miss me... Probably be the only guy there in a wheelchair...I usually am...no matter where I go!

Weather is supposed to be hit and miss this weekend. You guys that do the HCD be safe and have fun!

Pcar928fan... thanks for the heads-up! If I recall some of your past posts, I believe we both reside very close to each-other in the Cat-Hollow/Brushy-Creek/Avery-Ranch area...

"Wheel-chair"... means you presumably got cool hand-controls in an imported high-performance sports-car? Dunno what you or others think, but to me that's cool as heII! :)

LiveFromNY... oooh, thanks for the reminder! I'm gonna check the route right-now to see if it's feasible for me, or it's time order/acquire some new tires A.S.A.P... :D

(my rears are a bit squirrelly as of late... )

TexasMike... can you offer some insight regarding the local/regional Porsche & Ferrari clubs/gatherings/meets/drives (ie. email-list, membership signup, forum/board). You can PM me whenever you get the chance. Sincere thanks, in-advance! :)

Absolutely stunning, I'd be in love as well. I believe that's my fav' color-scheme (ext'/int') & being a Spider literally brings the interior to life. Grigio Silverstone ext' & Bordeaux int' (or is it Rosso)?

I was always preferential to the 360 Modena over the 360 Spider (meaning coupe over drop'top) w/ both looking like modern exotic sports-cars, but the F430 Spider looks like a proper exotic super-car w/o the top (a total different stance/presence than the coupe). No lie. . .

I really look fwd' to crossing paths sometime & hawk a glance at your fine ride...

When you're back in 'towne, hit me up. Though I can't fulfill your Ferrari fetish, I can show you some other decent rare high-powered rare rides from around my way & in my circle! :D

I don't really know anything about the PCA but I'm pretty sure you have to own a Porsche and provide a VIN to join the club. They just happen to invite the FCA to their events every now and then.

Anyone can join the FCA, you don't have to own a Ferrari. You just join via the official website http://www.ferrariclubofamerica.org/ and they will add you to your specific chapter. You will then be invited to all of the local FCA events and you are also welcome to attend any other FCA events around the country. We don't do drives very often but when we do, only FCA members are allowed to drive because we are covered by a group insurance policy. Each participant has to sign a waiver.

I'm pretty sure you already know about Ryan's HCD events. I've probably met you out there before. What color is your NSX?

Thanks for that, I also pondered such. It's odd that I have (2) friends of friends who own late-model Porsches, but no one that I know up-close/personally.

Oh nice, I'll peruse over that linkie... thanks again, man! Been on the prowl for a 360 Modena for years & acquiring one isn't the problem financially speaking... it's more of an issue w/ properly storing a 4th vehicle & maintaining a "Ferrari" (the cars become affordable, the maint'/service of the marque never does!). . .

Right... I've done a few of the HCD events in the past, but then I was away on travel for a bit & their former board/list got 'reset' a few years ago & I wasn't into-the-loop (so to speak) as of late.

It's an earlier black/black NSX coupe (some modifications for the track); I did many group drives in my former (also black/black) NSX coupe, which just had usual bolt-ons/etc'. I believe we may have crossed paths at some point indeed! If it's a dirty black NSX you ever see around 'towne w/ neat-lookin' wheels & exquisite JGTC exhaust note :)p), in all likelihood it's mine! :D

BTW, thanks for the spontaneous sighting snap-shots (say that fast 3 times...) & the club-meets/gatherings, drives, and event coverage in terms of pics. As aforementioned in other thread(s), I always look fwd to your posts. Living in N. Austin suburbia, it's a literal wasteland of mini-vans/S.U.V.'s/station-wagons/grocery-getters!
