When I first purchased my Vanquish I was told the Aston Martin professional driving course was free to Vanquish owners. It could be done either in Detroit or England. I passed on Detroit as I may do europe next summer with the family- I was going to hit both factories in England and the Modena and do the free one at Aston. Now I'm not sure about Europe.

I've already logged enough miles in the Vanquish that I'm kinda familiar with it-makes Detroit redundant. If I do spend the money on airfare etc to Detroit, it'd probably be the same as trucking both cars to a track and doing a Barber or similar course with BOTH cars. Are the respective factory courses SO specific that they're just the "be all get all?"

    Any thoughts?

Yeah it'd be ideal to go to both Aston in England and Modena, but I'd rather spend THAT amount of cash hunting in Africa.

I doubt the Aston course will offer anything more than (or possibly as much as) Skip Barber in your car. Of course ,then it's YOUR CAR on track (and a faster track, at that) instead of Ford's... That's just my suspicion (sp) based on what I know about driver training at the Ford proving grounds...
