    In 2011 when I drove a Boxster with PDK it seemed real fast. I owned a 360 F1 Spider at the time. BTW we ended up buying a Boxster S with a 6 speed manual. My wife will only drive a stick shift.

    Fast forward to 2013. Drove a Panamera Turbo AWD with PDK. It seemed slow. (I was trying to assess what a Macan PDK would be like as it has no manual tranny.)

    Only thing that happened was I traded the 360 for a 458 Spider in early 2013.

    Is the Panamera PDK slow or is it just my perception after owning a very quick 458 DCT?

    The PDk in the 981 boxster s and the 991 are both lightning fast in sport and sport plus mode.

    I don't think the stupid salesman showed me sport and sport plus mode. I wonder why?

    I have a 2011 turbo , and the PDK is very fast , put in sport or sport plus and the thing is stupid fast. In reg mode it is tuned for fuel economy, so in that mode it is very slow of the line.

    Looks like the salesman lost a sale. I thought they were supposed to make sell cars. LOL

    When I drove the 2011 Boxster the PDK was fast. No Sport or Sport Plus mode.

    The facelifted Panamera with the PDK in Sport or Sport Plus mode is as fast as any dual clutch I've driven. Same holds true for the 991 911 and the 981 Boxster/Cayman.

    I drove a facelifted Panamera Turbo a couple of months ago and was blown away by it.

    Sounded really good too (much better than the pre-facelift PTS).

    Yeah, I just put a drive cycle on a 2014 Box S / PDK and was pretty wowed by the speed of the gearbox. Its no toy & the real deal.

    Same (and in a Boxster S). With optional steering wheel and paddles it's probably the best I've ever driven.
