In a roundabout way... My DD (E350 Wagon) was totaled in September by an 83 year old woman on her way to a funeral who ran a stop sign (seriously...couldn't make that up!) Its replacement (E450 Wagon) finally arrived and I picked it up on Saturday (hot stone massage seats are sublime BTW). I happened to post on the MB Forum grousing about the fact that MB no longer offers a CD player as a factory option and it turned savage pretty quickly. Apart from ridiculing me for clinging to ancient technology, it devolved into a heated debate about different source media, their relative merits and the underlying sociological impact. In short, it turned into a free for all wholly lacking in civility or tolerance for different viewpoints. I mention this not only to illustrate how ******* crazy those people are but to express my fondness for our little corner of the internet. Today seems like a pretty good time to tell you how much I appreciate each and every one of you and the community we have forged. I've only been an active member of this forum for a couple of years but it's been a healthy place full of advice, support and good cheer. I'm happy to share our common interest and look forward to our friendship for many years to come. Wishing you the best at this special time of the year. JEFF
