So i've done lots of searching all over the net and I can't seem to find the information I'm looking for. I just bought an '01 Jetta and I want to improve it and make it my car in a tasteful fashion....

So one of the first things I want to do is upgrade the pedals from the ugly black/rubber things to something like a drilled steel or something. Problem is I can't find any information on pedal compatability, or even various mounting styles.

so if anyone knows anything about pedal upgrades I'd love any tidbits of information you may have.

    thanks in advance,
    -David

Dip into your local Audi parts bin and get Audi TT pedals. I believe mine where $100 or so for 3 pedals and the deadpedal. There are also options for automatic.
They are OEM and a 100% fit. With no drilling or cutting.

The GTI 20AE and R32 also had different pedals.

I typically use www.ecstuning.com or www.parts4vws.com for aftermarket parts.
    Here is a link. http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/pagebuild_v2.cgi?make=Volkswagen&engine=1.8T&model=Jetta%20IV&submodel=&category=Interior&subcategory=Pedal

**As far as aftermarket you can get options from www.tmtuning.com (based in germany, so shipping is slow and expensive), Sparco, Oettinger, Momo or AWE-tuning.

I personally recommend the OEM solutions. I had them on my 2001 GTI and they are standard on my 2007 GTI.

    Thanks Ducky!

I picked up my TT pedal set today and popped them on....

they look great and it really brings the interior up to snuff, the stock pedals looked like **** when compared to the rest of the leather interior.

    cheers,
    -David
