    great looking pair....
    but let me politely ask....

    why such similar cars?

why not at least add a spider (as in 06Spider)?

    where's the 12?

is there more lurking in that huge garage?????

    Enjoy!

These are my favourite Ferrari of all times! The 360 is still amazing but looks a bit old close the Scud..

They're both very special in their own ways. The CS was Ferraris modern attempt to capture its past glory in a raw, visceral, no nonsense exotic. The Scuderia is Ferrari looking ahead at its future in modern sportscar interpretation.

    Beautiful cars 06'!

That is a really cool pair of cars. The scud front looks more aggressive and is easier to look at. It makes the CS front look a bit dated. I like just about everything else (lookwise) better on the strad.

Sooo..... I had an 06 Spider and then I bought the CS. A couple of weeks later the Scud fell in my lap at a great price, so I traded the 06 Spider for the Scud. I kept the CS because I really like the driving experience and it's cheap enough to track. It's also much easier to find another Spider with my specs than another CS. My original intention was to get the CS, a Scud and then the Scud version of the 458, so I would have the Sport version of the 360, 430 and 458 Generations. Now I think I'll just stick with a std 458. I need one car that doesn't make my ass numb after 100 miles.

As far as the garage, it holds about 14 cars, but I only have 5 in there of my own and another 5 owned by friends. The other 3 I own are a 2010 Porsche GT3 (my primary track car), a 65 Corvette Roadster and a 2004 Corvette Z06.

The CS is Scuderia and the Scud is Rosso Corsa.

How would you compare the driving experience btwn the CS and Scud?

From a design standpoint, both cars have the same intent. Light weight, high HP to weight, track car for the street.

From a driving experience standpoint, the CS still gives more of the raw feel. I like the sound a bit better and the car just seems a bit more edgy, especially on the track. At WOT, it makes the hair on my arm stand up.

The Scud is more modern and refined (though it is much more raw than a std. 430). Very smooth, endless power, very solid. The carbon brakes seem a bit better than the CS. They definitely have a better initial bite. The F1 on the Scud is way better than the CS. Don't like having automatic mode on the Scud. Wish I could program it to be off when the car is started. The NAV and Premium hi-fi really don't belong in the Scud either. The exhaust is OK. But I personally find it just a little too high pitched vs. the CS.

All that being said, I love both cars and if I had to give one up I'm not sure what I would pick. They are both great in their own way and just different enough, that owning them both makes sense to me. I don't feel like a bought two of the same car.
